RF23 Commentaries: Hit Spots

RF 23 Commentaries: Hit Spots:

(LA Times) Old Mike, New Christine - Mike Penner
http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-oldmike26apr26,0,588768,full.story?coll=la-home-headlines

My Response: Okay this story came out last week and after hearing some comments about it, I kinda reserved mine. Had to let it stew for a minute or two and see what Tim Hardaway had to say about it. Well now that it has been a few days, I think it's time to hit on this and move on. I don't like it. I don't like the fact that Penner expressed himself in the sports section, the one and only section of the L.A. Times I do read. He ruined it, well okay, she ruined it, screw it! He-shesh contaminated holy sports ground by telling a huge number of readers, who are heterosexual that the paper will have a transgendered individual in it's sports section. Isn't it worse enough we have females reporting on sports. ESPN shoves female sports announcers down our throats for its Thursday College Football Night. They also have a female on it's NBA show. And speaking of females in the NBA, the NBA has a female ref'ing it's games. Men, who love sports have to put up with females reporting or writing about men's sports because of this affirmative action thing. But do we have to put up with a transgendered individual? I say no. As a matter of fact, the times is said to be on in it's death throws, with declining circulation sales and that most readers choose to use the internet. Now that Mike, I mean Christine will be donning the page 2 section of the paper...Consider the times dead.
Now does Penner have a right to work for the times, definitely and no one will cast expersions on it....But on the same measurement, no one should cast expersions on the remaining male readers who refuse to even look at the times.

Israel Report Blast Olmert Over Lebanon War
MSNBC link: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18389634/

My Response: This response should be short and sweet. Olmert didn't need a book to tell him that he screwed up the incident with Hezbollah. Shoot, as a matter of fact, I could have told him in less pages and with no punctuation. Israel should have wiped Hezbollah in it's own excrement and took a rolled up newspaper to them. But no, they played footsies with Hezbollah and gave them a victory over Israel. The summer battle should have skyrocketed the world into WWIII.
