Fanz23 Commentary: Sports

Well this is a blog that discuss everything from social issues to Hollywood to even Sports. So I'm going to show my wide arrange of variety. Hey! I'm cool like that.

Kobe Bryant: Look, in the beginning I didn't like the kid. He came off as brash and quite frankly I didn't like him as an individual. Now having said that, the boy got game. He won over my basketball props in the Lakers championship series against the Pacers. When the big man went down to fouls. Kobe by himself pulled the team on his shoulders and just jacked the Pacers. So I like his game, I like his diversity in being able to speak two different languages and unlike some of the high schoolers that came out...He's a bright young man. He plays hard and is competitive. Is competitive. Yeah, he's competitive to the point that he wanted to steer the ship the Captain Shaq was running. He's competitive to the point that he took over games just to score forty or fifty points with Shaq on the floor. He's competitive enough to become un-coachable at times and he's been competitive enough to allegedly quit on his team.

But the boy can play ball!

I don't know what's going on in his head, away from the basketball court he is quiet. Well with exception that he got with a girl that was still in high school, while he himself was over 21. And we got this allegation of rape in Colorado. Other than that, he's a quiet cat...So quiet that he ratted on Shaquille O'Neal to Littleton Police in regard to Shaq's discretions with other women.

But the boy can play ball!

Play ball. Hmmm Play ball. He didn't want to play ball with Shaq. He didn't want to play ball for Phil Jackson and Now today he doesn't want to play ball with the Lakers. On his website, www.kb24.com Kobe stated that he was upset with an insider saying he had everything to do with Shaq's departure. Until now a huge portion of Laker fans and fans of Shaq, were led to believe that was the case, cause, when asked about it. Kobe didn't answer. According to Kobe, he bit the bullet on this claim and until his entry on his website, was fine being the bad guy, fall guy. He than demanded a trade on the Stephen A. Smith Show. A few hours later, he was on the Dan Patrick Show saying the same thing. And then a few minutes laters, he's on a local radio show called the "Loose Cannons" saying that he wants to stay! So all of L.A. sigh in relief and before their heads hit the pillow. Kobe stands by his earlier statement of wanting to be traded. He than talks to Magic, Phil and eventually Laker Owner Jerry Buss. L.A. is led to believe that everything was cool and ironed out. The Lakers say they are going to make somethings happen. A deal or two falls through and Buss visits Kobe in Spain and after all that..

Kobe reinterates his stance of wanting to be traded. So what do the Lakers do, let 'em go? They can't! And no team in the league, unless Miami wants to play a sick joke on Shaq and trade straight up with Dwaynne Wade. Shaq and Kobe together again, this time in Miami! No, what Kobe needs to do is take another sleep pill and continue to lie in the bed he made.
