Fanzz23 - Gettin Personal

I don't usually do this, but I'm going to express something...

When a man loves a woman....

We all know the song, while throwing back a whiskey sour or something that will just burn and temporarily get the person through the day or night. But what I saw on Wednesday this week put this song to shame and one writer into a realm of reality he avoided for so long.

TRUTH

On Wednesday, a good friend of mine called me and asked if I was busy and if I was willing to help him, help his friend move. Apparently the friend had to leave his place real quick and time was literally running short. He also said that something happened so bad that when his friend called...he was in tears.

Now from prior conversations with my friend and other talk about this particular friend, he married a woman that most of his friendns, including my friend didn't approve. They were suspicious of the woman and she didn't help with her prior actions, but still this man, despite the talk, the wrong and her actions...

Kept loving her

My friend and his friends were pushing that the man leave the woman and they had good cases in which any jury or judge would agree to the execution..but the man

Loved Her Regardless

So as were in route to help with the moving, I got the gist of what was going on and my friend was talking to someone, once again proving his case that his friend cut bait, but apparently the other person on the phone disageed and hit him with a..

You Can't Fight Love

So we arrive and we see the damage of the incident and out comes the man, hurt in his heart, looking for the wherewithal, hell looking for answers and you know what.

ALL HE COULD DO IS THINK ABOUT HER and BLAME HIMSELF.

Did you read that!? Blame himself because of his shady past! and he said that God is still punishing him for that past and when he own step children and own children pointed out what all was saying about the man's wife..

HE DISMISSED IT and ALL HE COULD DO IS THINK ABOUT HER

I was floored, I saw things the way he did and all I could I do is blame

ME...

I don't have a strong relationship record. Been married and each time, I let indictments from other folks either end a marriage or break one down. There were times, when I was wrong and all I could do was..

BLAME HER

There were times that indictment against me were read and all I did was

DISMISS IT

and of course, when it too late...

ALL I DO IS THINK ABOUT HER.

Where's the whiskey sour?

Fanzz23 - A Pissed Off Liberal

It was a Monday night and I was sorting through emails and reading some good posts, when a liberal friend of mine instant messaged me and told me he was going to shut it down and that he was tired.

I can vouch for him, he and I battled and fought for almost 9 years. You would think that he and I were arguing which beer was best, less filling or taste great! but battle we did. Oh don't get it wrong, he still has venom and he's still fired up but this time, he's pissed at his party.

He believes he got the wrong bill of goods and now he's wondering if Hillary should have been president instead of the socialist president now occupying the white house. He's pissed that a bill that was passed by the democrats and a couple RINOs (three to be exact) has more social spending in it than it does stimulus. I don't blame him for being upset. I felt the same way, when I saw a moderate republican president spit out not one stimulus package but two of those bad boys.

My liberal friend is not happy and is looking to hide his head than take being hunted by people like me, who now have the huntin' gun. He's pissed because he's not seeing the change as promised, but is seeing the same ol same ol politics.

But hey at least you got a bi-racial president in the white house. He's not buying those good and now wondering if he got caught in the "he's half negro" and supposed to be smart bandwagon.

He's pissed and now looking for a third party!

Strangely, this party has characteristics of a hated party. My liberal friend is willing to adopt republicans issues for this new party.

All the while being pissed at the democratic party.

Fanz23 - Go East Young Man

Yeah, I know, it's supposed to be Go West young man, and everyone knows the "Beverly Hillbillies" theme song and of course, "California, Here I Come."

But if the state does the damn if they do or damn if they don't dance. Californians are going to hitch up the wagons and head east, hell just get the f'ugg out of California.

Recently a news article reported that Colorado are asking Californians, tax paying Californians to relocate there, through a series of ads. Showing pride, California responded. I don't think it is going to work.

DAMN IF WE DO; DAMN IF WE DON'T:

The State of California has been without a budget for a good long hour and the state is running out of money. Simply put, the state is one man made or natural disaster from going bankrupt. But if a budget is passed, it will mean higher taxes; higher auto registrations and program cuts across the board and to make matters worse, it is looking to get a loan that would have to be paid back with tax payer money. Also going up will be gas prices, as if the state, next to Hawaii is not one of the highest in the country. Sales tax are already higher than any other state and thus causing businesses to get the hell out of dodge.

I once wrote that the state was waiting for the big earthquake to hit. Unfortunately, if it did....The state couldn't afford it, if it put it on layaway.

Fanz23: NBA Slam Dunk Contest Is Unwatchable

Last night I tried to sit through the NBA Slam Dunk Contest and after it was over, I longed for the good ol days, hell even the ABA days. This year, the slam dunk contest was just unwatchable and you could see it on the faces of some of the greats like Bill Russell, George Iceman Gervin and Larry Nance had the same look.

Look if the NBA's best players and dunkers aren't going to participate, scrap the whole damn thing.

Obama takes on panhandlers

In his recent stint down in Flo-da. The selected one aka the media messiah got hit up by a couple of panhandlers looking for free stuff as if the annointed one was santa claus or the candy man..

check this out:

WOMAN: I respect you and I'm so grateful for you.

OBAMA: Thank you.

[Black] WOMAN: Been praying for you. But --

OBAMA: I believe in prayer, so I appreciate that.

[Same black woman]
WOMAN: I have an urgent need, unemployment and homelessness, a very small vehicle for my family and place to live in, we it need urgent, and housing authority have two years waiting on this thing and we need something more than a vehicle and parks to go to. We need our own kitchen and our own bathroom. Please help.

OBAMA: Well, I -- listen, I -- what's your name? What's your name?

[black woman about to give her name] WOMAN: It's Henrietta Hughes.

OBAMA: Okay, Ms. Hughes, we're going to do everything we can to help you, but there are a lot of people like you. We're going to do everything we can, all right? But the, uh, I'll have my staff talk to you after this, uh, after the -- the town hall, all right?

Wow! why don't you just ask for 40 acres and a mule, oh wait! you won't work the land anyway! never mind.

Here's one cat who want his unemployment to be the same as his last salary.

[Black] MAN: Usually what happens is when you apply for governmental assistance, they say, well, you make too much money. How -- if you go from making $3,000 a year, a month, to $1,100 a month, how are you able to take care of your families, why can't we have that be automatic, that goes along with your unemployment tenure that you can get government assistance, that's an automatic for you.

OBAMA: Well, look, unemployment insurance is not ideal. People want a job. They don't want unemployment insurance. But when the jobs aren't out here, it's tough. But I want to be honest with you. We are bumping up unemployment insurance. As I said, tens of thousands of people will be getting an extra hundred dollars a month, which doesn't sound like a lot, but that means an extra bill that you can pay. I'll be honest with you, though, we're not going to be able to take it from $1,100 up to $3,000. So our priority has to be on job creation.

L.A. Times: PETA protest Westminister Dog Show

True to the promise it made last week, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals turned out at Madison Square Garden today to protest the 133rd annual Westminster dog show.

Group members, decked out in Klansman robes and armed with brochures that read "The KKK and the AKC: BFF?", argued that purebred dogs suffer from breeding practices designed to produce show winners rather than healthy animals. A sample statement from the brochure (written in the first person as if by a Klan member):

Like the Klan, dog breeders who subscribe to the AKC standards are all about the sanctity of "pure bloodlines." So what if beagles have epileptic seizures, Dalmatians are deaf, and pugs can barely breathe because of how they are purposely bred to look a certain way? Looks are everything!

In a statement, PETA Vice President Daphna Nachminovitch referred to what she termed the AKC's "fetish for body image," saying that the kennel club's promotion of purebreds "means money for breeders but creates sick dogs and vet bills for their guardians."

In response to such claims, Westminster spokesman and commentator David Frei told the Associated Press, "I can't speak for everyone, but the vast majority of the people exhibiting and handling and showing at Westminster are more interested in the health of dogs than anything else ... We want to produce the next generation of healthy and happy dogs, not just for the show ring but for the couches at home." (Kathy Weichert, the breeder of last year's Westminster winner, Uno, shared Frei's sentiments when she talked to Unleashed last month.)

Further, PETA and other animal activist groups argue that dog breeding compounds the issue of pet overpopulation, with homeless dogs dying in shelters for lack of homes while breeders continue to produce new puppies. The brochure handed out by hooded protesters today elaborated on the connection PETA draws between pet overpopulation and dog breeding:

We tip our hoods to breeders who are responsible (oh, they'll modestly say that it's only "indirectly") for the number of mixed-breed dogs who never make it out of the animal shelter alive. AKC officials don't rub out these "inferiors" directly, but they know that every "purebred" puppy bought from a breeder means "lights out" for another mutt at the animal shelter.

But how successful was today's protest? The AP reports:

"Is this really the KKK?" somebody asked the woman in the white robe and the pointy hat...

Most passers-by seemed more puzzled than offended, though those who didn't stop walked away thinking they really had seen the KKK. The most common reaction was to pull out a cell phone and start snapping photos.

Police monitored the situation from nearby, but the scene was mostly calm. One shouting match broke out during the hour-long protest.

Earlier, a man strode away yelling, "That's disgusting! I'm going to buy more fur!"

The findings reported in a BBC documentary called "Pedigree Dogs Exposed" led the BBC to drop coverage of Crufts, Britain's biggest dog show. The BBC's statement cited issues including "spaniels with brains too big for their skulls and boxer dogs that suffered from epilepsy," and the British Kennel Club last month announced sweeping reforms to the standards of many of the breeds it recognizes in an effort to address health concerns.

PETA had asked the USA Network to follow the BBC's lead and drop its coverage of Westminster, a request the network ignored.
